The Office of Dead Letters
Watch six quirky-clowny creatures bring dead letters to life; letters that may have been lost at sea, burned by deviants, never sent, only dreamed about or ripped apart – all with one thing in common: they never reached their intended.
With a mix of surreal physical theatre and realistic revelations of humanity you are sure to revel in this journey throughout history witnessing untold stories, heartfelt messages and ridiculous complaints. A metaphor for the collective unconscious of society.

Democra
(or a sacred doe replaces Iphigenia on the sacrificial altar)
Democra is inspired by the first hand interviews of humanitarian workers, legislators, and bureaucrats taking a new look at the ancient Greek myth of “Iphigenia”. The play interrogates modern idealism and women’s sacrifice, both personal and professional, in times of peace and crisis. At an anonymous intergovernmental agency, five unpaid interns navigate harassment, virtue signaling, and the day-to-day details of legislation-making. Meanwhile, at a modern-day refugee camp, the echoes of Iphigenia still reverberate. While the agency is concerned with preserving ancient culture, other sacred sites, and most importantly their image, Amrah, a 6-year-old girl, traces her latest lesson in the dirt: her name in Greek.
Directed by Kathleen Capdesuñer, DEMOCRA was part of the 2021-2022 Irons in the Fire residency offered by Fault Line Theatre

The flower that fell from the sky
Olga lives in a big city and has lost her sense of smell. Only a core memory could reignite it. With her siblings, she makes the journey back to her hometown, a fishing village that was decimated by an explosion long ago.
The Flower that Fell from the Sky is a loose adaptation of Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov. An insightful and heart-felt contemporary fable with magical realism, sensory experiences, and physical theatre created for audience members 12 years and above.
Through the siblings’ quest to ultimately find a sense of home, we ask the question: “How do we preserve our inner-child?” A metaphor for the changes the world is currently going through, the play is an invitation to spark an intergenerational dialogue.
